Any lost item that is turned in by a customer or a Pierce Transit employee will be sent to the Pierce Transit’s Customer Service Department. Lost & Found items are stored at The Tacoma Dome Station Bus Shop. Found items are available the day after they have been lost.

Pierce Transit is not responsible for lost items, but does it’s best to reunite people with their property. Lost items are generally held for 14 days. After that, items are donated to recognized local charities.
Bicycles found on buses or at transit centers are held for approximately ten days in a secured area at Pierce Transit Headquarters. Unclaimed bicycles are donated accordingly. When claiming a lost bike, pick up is at Pierce Transit Headquarters weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Lost
No employee of Pierce Transit can lay claim to a customer’s personal property for any reason.

Lost items are available for pickup at The Tacoma Dome Station Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The lost and found pick up window is closed on weekends and holidays.
How to claim your lost item
Online – The easiest and most efficient way to report a lost item is to complete the lost and found form below. Please provide your name, phone or email address, and a description of the lost item. Please also include the date item was lost, bus or rail information and time of day. Once submitted, all of your lost item information will be accessible by Lost and Found personnel. You will receive a confirmation email stating the information has been received and will be reviewed by the Lost and Found department. If the item has been found a Customer Service Representative will contact you at the telephone or email contact information provided to the customer service department.
Phone – If you prefer, you can report your lost item by phone. You may contact our Customer Service office at 253.581.8000 Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 6:00 pm. A customer service representative will record your information.
