Over the years the Market has become more than just a place to shop, it has become a place to meet and enjoy an afternoon with family and friends. The Market offers hot foods from Mama Musubi rice balls, Wicked Maine Lobster, Olive Wood Pizza, breakfast burritos, Salvadorean pupusas, tamales, bacon wrapped hot dogs and more. If you have little ones don’t forget to check out the pony rides, petting zoo, train ride and bouncy slide. Tables are available on the lawn adjacent to the Market for relaxing, people watching and enjoying your Market purchases. Pets are not allowed at the Market – this is a health department regulation.

Shopping at the Market is not only good for you, it is good for the community. Proceeds after expenses are donated to local charities. See our Giving Back page for a list of some of the many worthy organizations we have supported over the years.

Looking for a way that you can help in your community? Each Sunday, the Market hosts one or more non-profit organizations in an effort to raise neighborhood awareness and promote volunteerism and philanthropy. Besides finding the perfect peach on Sunday, you may also find the perfect volunteer opportunity. If you are involved with a non-profit organization you would like featured at the Market, visit our Community Groups page for more information.

These days buying and shopping locally is more important than ever. Statistics show that if every US citizen ate just one meal a week composed of locally raised meats and produce, the country’s oil consumption would be reduced by over 1.1 million barrels of oil per week.* Not to mention the health benefits of eating fresh fruits and vegetables. So grab your favorite shopping bag, your favorite hat and some sunscreen and we will see you on Sunday at the Farmers Market.
